In cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, Asharqia Chamber organizes a workshop to present the strategy and mechanisms of localization in the "retail sector".
On Thursday, May 31, 2018 in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Development and the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, the Chamber will organize a specialized workshop to review the strategy of developing the retail sector and discuss the mechanisms of localizing 12 activities in this sector.
The workshop will be held at the headquarters of the Chamber in Dammam at 11am until 2 pm.
Representatives from the Ministry and the Authority are hosting the strategy, its implementation and its mechanisms as part of the vision of the Kingdom 2030 that to develop and localize the retail sector and raise Saudization rates in the sector, and providing the required binding legal procedures.
The twelve mandated activities include outlets in shops such as cars and their spare parts, motorcycles, ready-made clothes, household and office furniture, household appliances, electrical and electronic appliances, watches, glasses, medical equipment, building materials, and sweets shops.
